Second Pillow Pal

This one has a tail and crooked ears (by accident). though, I have to work on matching faces with features because the eyes and mouth look like a grasshopper!

And, this is the same but a close up...duh! I still plan on making a second pillow pal. The first one needs a friend. So far, Callum isn't all that interested in either but hopefully he will be as he gets older.

So, I got inspired by Loobylu and made this 'friend' pillow for Callum. It matches the bench and cushion I made for him this summer.

Quilt-o-rama

I got this fabric at a beautiful fabric store in Philly called Spool. I'm thinking of using it for a quilt for Callum's first birthday...you know if I find the time. What do you think?

A (Crafting) Space of One's Own

It might not be a room, but it's my space for crafting and feels similarly freeing to what Virginia described...a space to think and create and satisfy my own need to explore and make things. To an outside observer it will look like a table at the bottom of some stairs in a basement. But to me, it's vastly more. The table that was left behind by our home's previous owner. It's a beautiful thing.
