Little walk with the baby uncovered some fantastic fabric finds left curbside. I left it all out in the sun for an hour or so then soaked it in a borax-water solution before throwing it in the washer and drying outside. It doesn't have any smell so I think it worked. It previously existed as curtains and ridiculously poofy skirts...got lots of ideas about what it will be next.

wow, these are so great. I can totally see that spotted one as a hip little boys' button up shirt. and the flowers lining a bag, or on a curtain, or a scarf, or pretty much anywhere!
