I finally got around to the
90 Minute Shirt that everyone is so crazy about and I love making my own pattern and it truly is fast but, frankly, I just stink at sewing the collar. It's crooked and wonky and uneven and takes all the fun out of the 'I just made a shirt' feeling. I did get to expand my serger experience, which is lovely. But, again, a bit of a let down when the top is a disaster. I'm not saying I won't try it again but it might take a while to get back on that horse. So, seriously, if anyone is interested in this top...for a doll the size of a one year old, perhaps?...let me know. It's yours...with cherries on top.

oh gosh, so sorry it didn't work out like you'd hoped! I've only made a few of these, but there was a lot less stretching and the collar was better when I used a thicker men's tshirt as the knit fabric for the body & sleeves (vs. one I did with an old shirt of mine that was a thinner/stretchier knit). I pinned a lot, too....
Oh shucks sorry friend, it is annoying when sewing projects go a little wonky, especially at just the end! I have been noticing the flurry around this type of shirt but have not gotten round to trying it, think I may give it a miss... that neck line does look a bit tricky!
