One More Down

From Amy Karol's Bend the Rules, her artsy clutch. This was so easy to make, it took no time at all and turned out well thanks to the great instructions. It's a 'no reason' gift for a friend. The button is another given to me by my mom. Can you see her hippie roots, or what? The fabric was on sale at contemporary cloth. I used some of the heavy sunblocking fabric left over from the curtains in an internal layer and it worked really well to stiffen the clutch and give it some heft. Heft is good, right? Especially when it comes to a clutch.

You are the queen of "no reason" gifts, and this little cluth is fantastic, and it is one of the totally bonus things about being your friend! I still have a little bag that you made for me and filled with Valentine's candy when we met in New York, and a note card that you made hanging on my refridge. You are the GREATEST!!

That is so sweet, em. One of the best things about all my non-crafty friends is how much they LOVE the easy stuff I make. It's great. But...you were asking about fabric the other day. What's up your sleeve?

My Mom fell in love with this after spying it here. She asked for my copy of the book to give it a go. I will take a picture when she has it done. You inspired her with your wonderful work.

She is going to love it! It's so easy and super cute. Sweet of you to pass on such nice words. I can't get over your beautiful lace scarf. Amazing.
