Made up some fabric scrap valentine's cards this week. I kind of get into valentine's day cards, I particularly enjoy making them because, unlike Christmas cards, there are no expectations for valentine's cards. There is no pressure. They can suck and it won't matter, it will still be sweet. To make them I ironed fabric scraps to freezer paper, so it would be stabilized. Then, I used cookie cutters to make my shapes with a fabric marker. After that, it's just cut and sew. I like sewing on paper, it feels oddly naughty. Like I'm really pushing some crafting edge. I guess that is as thrilling as things get for a mom of two little people! Either way, Happy (nearly) Valentine's Day all.
