Because, really, who couldn't use a new one?

A checkbook cover! I sure could. Mine is old, ratty and been around with me since college. Here's a great tutorial from Mudmuffins and Woogiemonsters, found via How About Orange. I'll post pictures of my new one when I make it!

Yeah! I've had a scrap of fabric floating around my craft desk that is intended to be a checkbook cover (I still have the one from the bank!). The lotta jansdottar book Simple Sewing has a great pattern for this. We can compare techniques and refine our own!
