lovely photo!! but what I REALLY want to know is--what is the difference between white and brown eggs? my husband and I were having this discussion earlier this week and he thought maybe it is just chance which color pops out of the chicken? but I'm guessing there's some kind of genetic modification question at work, too... educate me, M.!
Thanks all! Mama-Pan, you have me perplexed. All I know is that organic eggs are almost always brown so I'm guessing there is some kind of commercialization of chickens that produce white eggs? Hmm, I sure someone has written about this on the mamablog web world. I should know this, I spent the first six years of my life on an organic farm and I used to help with the hens. But, no clue.
